I have been helping people transition into retirement, and understand Medicare for 6 years. I have developed a high level of empathy for the people I work for after seeing what they experience. I work hard to  understand what is important to each person--because everyone's situation is different. Navigating Medicare is tough, no doubt. I enjoy helping people compare plans, companies, and trends to be aware of. I also encourage everyone to ask many questions throughout the process. I like to take a pragmatic approach to finding healthcare, that way you don't have to keep shopping for a new plan year after year. I love my job and I take a lot of pride in what I do because I value my client's trust more than anything. In my free time, I like to garden, play guitar, and make cured meats (think Salami, charcuterie meats etc.). I have a passion for growing gourmet and neuro-regenerative mushrooms as well.

I am so happy to wake up each day and do what I do! There is a lot of value in the relationships that I build with my clients. I like to get to know people and understand where they are coming from. Insurance isn't black and white, so I really try to get on each person's level and relate to them. My grandmother was my hero. She taught me the importance of treating people with respect, standing up for what's right, and also to just sit back and chat with friends once in a while--take life slowly! I am a new dog-mom, so my hands are full with my Mini Dachsund, Clover. She and I like to go on walks with my boyfriend and just take in the beauty of the outdoors. Speaking of--I LOVE to travel. Colorado has my heart. The mountainscapes and the fresh air just make me feel so at peace.

As a Medicare advisor for the last 6 years, I have met a lot of people from all over the country, most of them experiencing the same things. They are stressed, often worried, confused. After speaking with them, they are relieved, and most importantly adequately covered. Most people want to enjoy retirement without thinking about large expenses. I enjoy making things easy for my clients. I have so many people that call me to tell me about new grandchildren, recent travels, new homes--they are so excited to do whatever they want in their golden years, and they know I love to hear it. As for myself, I also enjoy to travel. My husband and I recently purchased a camper with the goal of seeing as many places as we can! It will be interesting camping with my 3 Boxers, Dexter, Vincent, and Jules, as well as Puppy...we'll see how that goes! I love to bowl and sing karaoke when I can't be outdoors having fun. Oh, if you haven't read, "If You Tell" by Gregg Olsen, I highly recommend it. My book club just finished it!
